Packing Tips
These two pages of tips will ensure that your moving experience goes as smoothly as possible,
cutting down on total moving times and saving you money. See Page 2 or print the packing tips.

Books
- Recommended carton size - Small book carton (1.5 cubic ft.)
- Lay books flat, alternating their binders.
- Separate each layer with a folded piece of packing paper.
- Pack smaller books upright or magazines to tighten up the
carton, or just add some wadded packing paper.
- Seal your carton with some quality packing tape.
- Label your carton.

Small framed pictures
- Recommended carton size - (3.0 - 4.5 cubic ft.) Choose the
carton that best fits your size pictures.
- Never lay flat. Always stand in an upright position.
- Cover the bottom of your carton with some wadded packing
paper to help cushion the load.
- Wrap each picture individually and stand upright leaving
some space to cushion sides. Top off your carton with some
more packing paper to tighten it up.
- Seal and label your carton.
- Mark "fragile" with red marker if possible.

Large framed pictures
- Recommended carton size - (Glass Pack/Mirror Carton)
Choose the size that best fits your size pictures. (2 piece
and 4 piece cartons available, also custom crating).
- Cardboard inserts are also available to protect the edges.
- Seal and label your carton.

Glassware
- Recommended carton size: - (Dish pack 6.0 cubic ft. or 4.5 tall cubic ft.)
- Never lay glassware flat.
- Glass bowls can stack into each other, (normal position). Do not stand
bowls on edge.
- Cover the bottom of your carton with some wadded up packing paper to help
cushion the load. Wrap each piece individually and stand upright. Top off
with packing paper to tighten it up.
- You can also use plastic ware to help top off carton.
- Seal and label your carton. Mark "Fragile" with red marker, if possible.
